I saw that post about Harry Potter in so many words, pages, chapters, etc. and was curious about MY favorite series…

A million words? 3000 pages? 199 chapters? That’s cute. Don’t get me wrong, I love HP, but if you want to talk about numbers…

HONEY, LET ME TELL YOU A LITTLE SOMETHIN ABOUT MY SERIES OF CHOICE.

It’s called Wheel of Time and it’s a muthafuckin BEAST.

As of the last book published (we’re up to 14, including the prequel), I estimate the word-count at 3784800. After the final book is published, it will exceed 4 million.

9462 pages. That’s just hardback. If you take into account paperback, then it’s more like 13500 pages.

635 chapters. 654 if you count the prologues and epilogues, and you SHOULD because it is not unusual for the prologues to be 100 pages long.

2641 named characters. About 40 of them are MAIN characters.

THAT SAID. We don’t have any movies…. (if that’s even a good idea).

BUT IF YOU EVER WANT TO READ YOUR ASS OFF. Here you go.

I’ve read the fuckin thing 8 times.
